My Journey
Sayan Dey – Guwahati
I am Sayan from Dharmanagar, a small but beautiful town in Tripura. Growing up in a close-knit community taught me the value of relationships, hard work and positivity. Today, I want to share my story with you.
Beginning of the Journey:- In 2016, I started my career as a Customer Executive. Fresh out of college, filled with dreams and energy, I was eager to learn and grow. Every day at work brought new lessons—handling customers, solving problems and staying calm under pressure.
By 2025, I proudly stepped into the role of Duty Officer. The journey was not always easy. There were challenges, setbacks and moments of doubt. But each experience taught me resilience and made me stronger.
How Hobbies Shaped Me! Music and dance have always been my companions. Whenever life got tough, playing music or dancing helped me find my balance again. Photography taught me patience and helped me see beauty even in the smallest things. Cooking and exploring new dishes sparked my creativity and helped me bond with people from different cultures.
Traveling opened my mind to new ideas, traditions and ways of life. Meeting new people taught me empathy and communication skills—qualities that helped me grow both personally and professionally.
These hobbies did not just fill my free time; they shaped me into a better human being. They taught me discipline, teamwork, creativity and empathy—qualities that I bring into my work every day.
Fitness and discipline became my pillars. Regular workouts kept me physically strong and mentally sharp. Sticking to a routine taught me consistency, focus, and self-control. Both fitness and discipline gave me the strength to handle high-pressure situations at work and life.
Whenever challenges came, my passion kept me grounded and reminded me why I started in the first place.
SpiceJet: My Second Family. SpiceJet has been more than just a workplace for me—it has been a family. From the very beginning, my colleagues and seniors welcomed me with open arms. They encouraged me to pursue my passions, whether it was participating in cultural events, fitness activities, or photography contests. Their support made me feel valued and motivated me to always give my best.
